Job Title: AV Operations Support Technician

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 12 months + Possibility to Extend and/or Convert to FTE

Pay Rate: $35 - $45/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

• This role will support, maintain, and optimize workplace audiovisual (AV) infrastructure to provide a seamless user experience across conference rooms, Zoom calls, video conferences, and other AV-enabled environments.
• Serve as a key technical resource for AV operations, supporting hardware configuration, break/fix activities, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of AV systems.
• Support and manage the Zoom ecosystem, including Zoom Rooms, Zoom Device Management, and Zoom Digital Signage.
• Troubleshoot AV hardware, conference room technology, controllers, audio systems, and related infrastructure.
• Support conference room equipment and technologies including Poly, Biamp, Crestron, AV controllers, and audio digital signal processors (DSPs).
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving AV equipment, desktop platforms, operating systems, networking, and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage ITIL-based incident workflows and accurately document incidents, resolutions, and related operational activities.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for AV systems, equipment, and technology changes.
• Maintain an accurate asset inventory database for AV equipment and related technology.
• Collaborate with technical teams and end users to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve AV-related issues.
• Provide on-call support as assigned, including occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed to support business operations.
• This is a full-time, on-site position Monday through Friday in Plano, TX.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of technical support or operations experience
• At least 1 year of experience supporting IT systems, networking, and infrastructure
• At least 1 year of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems
• At least 1 year of experience with incident management and reporting tools
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure
• Experience troubleshooting technical hardware and software issues
• Understanding of conference room and audiovisual equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to provide a high-quality user experience while supporting technical AV environments
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Plano, TX
• Ability to participate in on-call assignments, including occasional after-hours and weekend support
