CRM Platform Developer – Microsoft Dynamics 365

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365–based CRM solutions to deliver improved functionality and user experience for internal and external customers. The role focuses on leveraging core Dynamics 365 capabilities and custom development to build robust, secure, and scalable CRM solutions.

This role supports the organization’s CRM platform strategy and contributes to the adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Functional Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions using native platform capabilities and custom development where appropriate
• Enhance CRM functionality to support sales, service, or stakeholder management business processes
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business SMEs within Agile scrum teams
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical designs
• Design and maintain CRM data models, relationships, and security roles
• Build and support CRM integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs
• Produce clear technical documentation so solutions can be supported and enhanced by other team members
• Support ongoing CRM enhancements and platform evolution as Dynamics capability matures

Technical Capabilities

Required

• Strong enterprise CRM fundamentals, including data modeling, security, workflow automation, and business process design
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, or xRM), including:

o Entity (table) configuration and relationship modeling

o Security roles, access controls, and data visibility

o Business rules, workflows, plugins, or automation

• Experience working on CRM implementations, enhancements, or early stage Dynamics adoption, recognizing that Dynamics tenure may be limited
• Experience building or supporting REST API integrations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Preferred (Plus Skills)

Salesforce Experience

• Experience developing with Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components
• Experience configuring Salesforce Flows, Approval Workflows, and Process Builder
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, including Sharing Rules, Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, and related access control mechanisms

Additional Plus Skills

• Experience working in environments with multiple CRM platforms or CRM platform transition
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• CRM certifications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Salesforce)
