Insurance Sales and Service Associate

As an Insurance Sales and Service Representative, you will be at the heart of the mission - to be the #1 choice for the military community and their families.. You will be the go-to resource for its members, providing solutions for their insurance needs in international markets while members are stationed overseas.
This position is a regulated position under the supervision of the CBI.

What you will do:

• Provide expert support and guidance to company's members via phone.
• Find solutions to complex issues and ensure a positive member experience.
• Collaborate with a team of Insurance Professionals dedicated to fulfilling the same mission.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence recognised by leading industry awards.
• Deliver telephone-based support to members on all aspects of general insurance underwriting.
• Respond to member requests, resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Provide exceptional levels of customer service.
• Build strong relationships with existing and prospective members through conversation to identify member needs and suggest appropriate USAA insurance products.
• Achieve sales and service targets while adhering to European, US and International regulatory compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Understand and apply risk management principles by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in personal and professional development, responding positively to feedback and overcoming challenges.
• Escalate systemic issues impacting member satisfaction.
  
  

What you will need:

• Completed secondary education or equivalent.
• Third Level Qualification (minimum Level 6 standard).
• Experience working with, supporting, or familiarity with the military community is preferred. This may include personal military experience or experience as a military spouse.
• APA qualification, or willingness to start the APA qualification process within 6 months of joining the company.
• Insurance and customer service background.
• Experience multitasking in a Windows operating system environment.
• Excellent business English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced professional corporate environment.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and exceed expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong active listening skills.
• A proactive and flexible work style, with an enthusiastic can-do attitude and a positive and professional demeanor.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively resolve issues and identify sales opportunities aligned with member needs.
• Proven ability to effectively close sales and secure agreements.
• Ability to operate in a regulated environment and adhere to processes and procedures.
