Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Presentation Designer / Media Designer to create clear, engaging, and visually compelling presentations that support business communication and storytelling objectives.

The ideal candidate has advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills, a strong eye for visual design, and the ability to transform complex information, data, and ideas into polished, easy-to-understand presentations.

This role will also apply design expertise to SharePoint Online and other digital platforms, helping create a consistent and impactful visual presence across multiple digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.

• Translate complex information, data, and ideas into clear and engaging visual stories.

• Develop compelling slide layouts, charts, diagrams, infographics, timelines, and other visual elements.

• Apply brand guidelines consistently across presentations and other visual communications.

• Apply design expertise to the user experience and visual presentation of SharePoint Online sites and other platforms.

• Collaborate with HR, communications, leadership, and cross-functional teams to understand project goals and audience needs.

• Improve existing presentations by refining content hierarchy, visual flow, layouts, and overall design.

• Create and maintain PowerPoint templates, slide libraries, and presentation standards.

• Develop and implement design standards for SharePoint Online, ensuring visual consistency and usability.

• Ensure presentations and digital content are accurate, polished, visually consistent, and ready for delivery.

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

• Provide design guidance and best practices to colleagues creating presentations and contributing to digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.

• 3+ years of presentation design experience.

• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft PowerPoint experience.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Visual communication

  • Typography

  • Layout

  • Color

  • Information hierarchy

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information through effective visual design.

• Experience creating:

  • Charts

  • Infographics

  • Diagrams

  • Data visualizations

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for quality.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Experience with SharePoint Online.

• Portfolio demonstrating strong presentation and visual communication work is required, including extensive PowerPoint design examples and examples of digital platform design or SharePoint Online contributions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a corporate, HR, communications, consulting, or professional-services environment.

• Experience developing branded presentation templates and design systems.

• Familiarity with HR communications or organizational presentations.

• Experience designing and managing content within SharePoint Online.

• Experience with other content management systems or digital collaboration tools.

They should also understand how to apply consistent design principles across different platforms, including SharePoint Online, to create cohesive and impactful user experiences.

Additional Requirement

• A portfolio with extensive PowerPoint design examples is required.

• Candidates selected for interview may be asked to complete a practical design exercise.
