AI Business Systems Analyst

Duration:  12+ month contract

Location;  Detroit, MI (Hybrid-must be local to MI.  1-3 days/week on site in Detroit, need to be flexible.)

Rate:  $60/hr W2 ONLY, NO C2C

Job Summary

This is a technically-minded Business Systems Analyst role.  This person will receive AI ideas from the business.  They are responsible for converting functional ideas to AI use cases and creating a project.  They also determine feasibility (is this a project that makes sense to implement?)

 

Must be able to give detailed examples of mature AI use cases they have personally written, this will be asked during the interview so please screen carefully here.

Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of analytics, AI, automation, and digital transformation use cases that deliver measurable business value. This role works closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, define product requirements, assess opportunities, and develop business cases and implementation roadmaps. The consultant will serve as a bridge between business, analytics, and technology teams to drive successful delivery and value realization.

Key Skills & Experience

•            Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills

•            Experience with AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives

•            Product Requirement Document (PRD) development and business case creation

•            Use case evaluation, prioritization, and feasibility analysis

•            SQL and Python proficiency

•            Statistics, forecasting, experimentation, and decision analytics

•            Knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs, cloud platforms, and data quality

•            Executive-level communication and presentation skills

•            Experience translating business requirements into actionable technical requirements
