Syndicated Loan Agency Operations Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX 
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Contract Duration: 6 months

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Syndicated Loan Agency Operations Analyst to support the administration and servicing of syndicated bank loans. This position provides exposure to credit agreements, administrative agency functions, lender communications, loan positions, regulatory documentation, reconciliations, and operational risk management.

The Analyst will work closely with middle-office teams, front-office desks, servicing teams, technology, legal, compliance, borrowers, and syndicate lenders throughout the lifecycle of syndicated loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Credit Agreements and related loan documentation to understand and support the firm's responsibilities as Administrative Agent.
  • Coordinate and respond to lender inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication between borrowers and syndicate lenders.
  • Prepare and distribute administrative notices, including:
    • Interest-rate resets
    • Loan rollovers
    • Payment notices
    • Other syndicated-loan communications
  • Collect and maintain lender tax documentation, including W-8 and W-9 forms, to support regulatory and institutional requirements.
  • Perform regular reconciliations and confirmations of syndicated loan positions across stakeholder groups.
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve complex operational and client-service inquiries.
  • Take ownership of issues through resolution while appropriately balancing operational risk and business requirements.
  • Analyze data and provide insights supporting business and operational decisions.
  • Identify control gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner across Operations, Front Office, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and other internal teams.
  • Support an evolving loan-agency organization through process enhancements and risk-management initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to process and reconcile large amounts of information accurately.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a deadline-driven, high-risk financial environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users, management, technology teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to research and resolve issues independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within banking, financial services, lending, or financial markets.
  • Exposure to syndicated loans, loan operations, credit agreements, or administrative agency functions is highly desirable.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements with testing traceability.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related analytical discipline.
