 Pay Rate: $42 - $52/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

  • This role supports the early-stage development and planning of infrastructure projects across generation, transmission, telecommunications, solar, facilities, real estate, and regional IT enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and internal customers to intake new work requests, understand business needs, clarify project scope, and document project requirements.
  • Develop preliminary project scope, assumptions, constraints, financial information, and planning details required to move work through the project intake and development process.
  • Coordinate preliminary project estimates by gathering project information, requesting estimates from engineering and technical teams, reviewing returned estimates, and resolving questions or gaps.
  • Prepare and maintain labor planning, contingency planning, financial planning, and other project controls information based on engineering inputs and project requirements.
  • Create and maintain JIRA Epics, Features, tasks, and related project records so work can be appropriately routed to regional and delivery teams.
  • Use Primavera P6 schedules and other systems of record to review upcoming work, verify accounting information, and align project planning with business and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with engineering, telecommunications, transmission, generation, solar, facilities, product, regional IT, and other internal teams to ensure project information is complete before handoff for implementation.
  • Attend and participate in frequent meetings with business partners, engineering teams, regional teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Track project decisions, issues, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and action items and ensure timely follow-up with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, financial inputs, estimates, status updates, schedules, and handoff information within applicable systems.
  • Manage multiple work requests and planning activities simultaneously while maintaining organization, accuracy, and appropriate follow-through.
  • Support projects from initial request through planning, estimating, documentation, and eventual handoff to implementation teams.
  • Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings, project planning discussions, site visits, or coordination throughout Florida.
  • This position requires working onsite three days per week in St. Petersburg, with Tuesday and Wednesday required onsite days and attendance at Tuesday morning staff meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, project coordination, project development, business relationship management, estimating, planning, or related project functions.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, clarifying project scope, documenting assumptions, and coordinating work across multiple internal teams.
  • Experience supporting project estimates, financial planning, budget inputs, labor planning, contingency planning, project controls, or similar activities.
  • Experience working with engineers, technical teams, business partners, or other stakeholders to obtain project information, resolve questions, and support project planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, work requests, meetings, follow-ups, and documentation requirements simultaneously.
  • Experience planning, facilitating, attending, or documenting project meetings, including tracking decisions, risks, dependencies, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate project information to business partners, engineering teams, regional teams, and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities and maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholder groups and move projects from initial request through planning and handoff.
  • Proficiency with project, work management, scheduling, financial, or reporting systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work onsite three days per week in St. Petersburg, including required Tuesday and Wednesday onsite days.
  • Ability to comply with applicable field and site safety requirements, including use of personal protective equipment when required.
  • Ability to perform occasional field or site activities that may involve lifting or climbing ladders as required by project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting infrastructure, telecommunications, utilities, construction, facilities, generation, transmission, solar, renewable energy, or project development environments.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Primavera P6, Business Objects, or similar project management, scheduling, financial, or reporting tools.
  • Experience creating or maintaining JIRA Epics, Features, tasks, or similar structured project records.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 schedules, accounting verification, project cost structures, estimates, forecasts, financial planning, or project funding processes.
  • Experience coordinating estimates and project planning activities with engineers, technical teams, product owners, business partners, regional teams, or field organizations.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications or infrastructure disciplines such as data networking, transport equipment, radio frequency systems, DC power, fiber optics, construction, or facilities-related work.
