Job Title: Recordkeeper

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $18 - $22/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

• Provide service and administrative support to large and complex defined contribution retirement plan clients.
• Respond to client requests for information and resolve administrative and service-related issues.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with company and client standards.
• Process defined contribution plan transactions, including contributions, loans, withdrawals, and earnings allocations.
• Format, review, and load plan and participant data.
• Perform and analyze testing required for defined contribution plans, including discrimination testing and other plan design-related testing.
• Request and interpret plan data, present results to clients, and provide recovery recommendations when necessary.
• Reconcile trust accounting and recordkeeping systems at the plan level.
• Reconcile plan balances to trust balances through daily balancing, adjustment analysis, reconciliation reporting, and transaction-level analysis.
• Coordinate omnibus fund purchases and sales with third-party fund companies.
• Format and produce client reports, including valuation reports, participant statements, and investment performance reports.
• Prepare files and documentation necessary for tax and compliance reporting.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls.
• Maintain relationships with trustees and other key stakeholders.
• Discuss plan design, trust reconciliation, payroll-related matters, and other recordkeeping services with clients.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting defined contribution retirement plans and/or retirement plan recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of defined contribution plan transactions, including contributions, loans, withdrawals, and earnings allocations.
• Experience with plan-level reconciliation, trust accounting, or recordkeeping systems.
• Experience reconciling plan balances to trust balances and researching discrepancies.
• Understanding of defined contribution plan testing, including discrimination testing.
• Experience working with retirement plan data, participant data, and financial transactions.
• Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Experience preparing client, valuation, participant, investment performance, tax, and/or compliance reports.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding plan administration, reconciliation, payroll, and related service issues.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with financial and retirement plan data.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.
