Position Summary
Seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator with strong technology contracts experience to support the preparation, negotiation, award, and commercial management of complex contracts.
This position is heavily focused on pre-award contracting and negotiation, including developing contracts from initial scope through execution. Candidates should have demonstrated contract drafting experience and the ability to translate business requirements, scopes of work, and commercial terms into complete contract documents. Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-procurement planning to determine appropriate contracting methods.
- Assist project teams with the preparation and review of technical specifications and scopes of work.
- Advise project teams regarding contractual risk.
- Prepare contract documents, including general terms and conditions and commercial terms, for bid solicitation.
- Manage competitive RFP/RFQ and bidding activities, including solicitation development, bid evaluation, vendor communications, and commercial analysis.
- Lead commercial bid evaluations and coordinate with technical evaluations.
- Lead contract formation and negotiation with business, Legal, Risk, regulatory, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, payment terms, deliverables, schedules, warranties, indemnification, insurance, liability, and other commercial provisions.
- Review vendor redlines, exceptions, and proposed contractual changes through final agreement.
- Prepare award recommendations, finalize agreements, and coordinate contract execution.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure alignment between the PO, contract, scope of work, pricing, and negotiated terms.
- Partner with Procurement/Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, business stakeholders, and vendors to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
- Provide contract administration support, including change orders, claims and dispute resolution, invoice review, compliance, and contract closeout.
- Perform due diligence on potential contractors.
- Participate in cross-functional supply-chain improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of direct work experience performing duties and responsibilities related to construction, project engineering, contract management, project management, and quantity survey experience.
- Technology contracts experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the primary duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Demonstrated advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to respond to change in a productive manner and effectively execute other assigned tasks. Pasted markdown
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge in an ERP or SAP environment.
- Experience with Contract Life Management systems, specifically SMART by GEP, is a plus. Pasted markdown
Travel: Travel may be required to locations throughout Florida or vendor locations in North America in support of procurement functions.
