Technical Lead

Position Summary

The Technical Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership, solution architecture, and delivery oversight for a strategic finance platform initiative. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to define solution direction, establish technical standards, and ensure successful delivery of scalable cloud-based applications.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on engineering skills with leadership experience and a proven ability to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Azure and modern application development frameworks. The role serves as the primary technical authority for the delivery team and is accountable for solution quality, architectural integrity, and development team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and architecture activities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Establish development standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support backlog definition, estimation, prioritization, and release planning.
• Ensure solution quality through design reviews and code reviews.
• Track dependencies and coordinate cross-functional technical activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Present architectural recommendations and technical roadmaps.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and technical documentation activities.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of technical leadership, solution lead, or architecture experience.
• Strong experience designing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Experience delivering modern web applications using Angular or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing API, integration, and data solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and event-driven architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting finance, accounting, compliance, or reporting platforms.
• Experience leading distributed development teams.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with SAFe delivery frameworks.
